not trying to brag or anything, but....

Yes, I was lucky enough to try the Chardonnay as well. As I have mentioned several times before, California Chardonnay is not one of my favorite things to drink, so I love it when I am surprised by a bottle. It does seem, statistically speaking that the bottles of California Chardonnay that I find pleasing are quite expensive....

Again, Marcassin, a Helen Turley project...very nice bits of ripe candied apple with hints of vanilla creme brulee and subtle notes of citrus, all in a lush round mouth feel with a lingering finish. A great food wine, lobster comes immediately to mind, and what better to enjoy in Maine in the summer!
